How an order goes
- You pick a product in CJ's catalog, or ask CJ to source one you found elsewhere.
- You choose the variant, the warehouse it ships from and the shipping method.
- A buyer orders in your store, and the order goes to CJ.
- You pay CJ for the item and the shipping; CJ packs and ships it with tracking.
In stock or not? Some products already sit in a CJ warehouse. Others CJ has to buy first, which adds days. A nice product page doesn't tell you which one it is — check the exact variant and warehouse before you list.
How long it really takes
There are two waits, not one:
- Processing before the parcel leaves: CJ states 3–5 days (CJ).
- Shipping to the buyer, which depends on the method and the country.
Your delivery promise has to cover both, plus a few days to spare. A tracking number can appear before the parcel actually moves, so judge by the first carrier scan, not by the number.
What it really costs
The product price is only the start. What you keep:
price − product − shipping − duties − marketplace and payment fees − ads − refunds and reships
Example, a made-up phone stand sold for $24.99:

When something goes wrong

Your buyer won't wait 45 days. So keep your own budget for refunds and reships, and don't make the buyer wait for CJ's answer. Ask buyers for photos right away: with a 3-day window, slow evidence means no compensation.
Test before you scale
- Order a sample to your own address with the same warehouse and shipping method you'll sell with.
- Check the parcel: right variant, size, packaging, real weight.
- Time it: processing days, first carrier scan, delivery.
- Set a stop rule: pause the product if it arrives as the wrong variant, goes out of stock after payment, or shipping changes enough to kill the margin.
- Only then turn on ads.
